i build my own. it's a great hobby and in interviews for tech support (that's what i do for a living) they actually ask you what the technical specifications of your current home computer is so that really impresses them (i dont really see why cause it's really easy to do) :-P :lol:

if you own a large enough compacity mp3 player (like i do) you know that you dont update it that often. my usb connection to my mp3 player is kind of like a headphone jack. and it has a rechargable li-i0n battery that charges through the same hole :-D

extend the ribbon cables to the gdrom board seperating the laser assembly from the board of the gdrom. then just put it on the rails of the stereo's cd player.

make sure all of your connections (internal\ribbon cable) are firmly in place. if n e thing else unplug everything give it a good cleaning and buy a new dreamcast lol

lol i kind of had the same problem for my ps2i except the ps2 allowes two controllers to be plugged in as long as one is off when the other is being plugged in. a nifty little switch helped for that. turned off the internal controller (base) plug in another controller then turned the base back on. m...
