Using EclipseCDT For DC Development

Ive got my RH9 box that I worked really hard to set up. I'd like to use it for development because my other win machines arent really suitable (one's a DB server with some other stuff, the other is a work laptop). I notice that the EclipseCDT is a good C/C++ compiler and IDE, and I wonder if anyone ...

The VMU uses 2 CR-2032 batteries. You can buy these at any radio shack - 2 for about 3 bucks.

I saw somewhere on here about a mod to the VMU to get it running on AA batteries, but i forget where it was.

ok, everythings up and running. The last issue Im wrestling with is my monitor settings.

My monitor can support 1024 * 768 resolution. Despite me seleting the monitor from RH's list, and specifying the resolution, I always end up booting to 640 * 480.

any ideas?

Changing Monitor on FirstBoot

Well I tried installing Red Hat 9 again and I selected my monitor on installation from the list, but I think its crashed anyway When GRUB loads everything up and it gets to the stargint Firstboot command, my machine stops. How can I change the monitor to something else (unprobed monitor type I guess...

great. well, i never had one registered with sega. i bought a brand new copy thinking i wouldnt need a HL. so am I done? this experiment failed? Yes, unless you find a serial that works, or the guys that are making the homebrew server find a way around this issue. the fAQ should be updated to refle...

You can connect with the NTSC US version as well. But if you have V2 you need to have a serial number that was once registered with Sega. Or something like that anyway. If the homebrew server would only work with PAL versions it wouldn't be very useful right now, because the official PAL servers ar...

well I cleared the DNS entries for the BBA (instead of providing my cable providers DNS entries), set the BBA to DHCP automatic IP address, and voila - it works!

Now to see about PSO...

I omitted the 3rd part of the IP: its a 1, which is the same IP segment that the router provides by default.

So my router is 192.168.1.1, machien a is 1.2, dreamcast 1.3, etc.

Online-gaming ONLY works with the HIT-0400 !
If you bought the HIT-0300-Adapter, you got screwed ;)
Its the 0400...

out of curiosity, whats wrong with the 0300 that online gaming doesnt work with it?

This isn't taboo dumbass, I've been on there plenty of times. Maybe you're just too dumb to follow speud's tutorials. I mean he lays them out plain and simple. Read what he says, DO what he says and you'll be on there. Derived Class, that wasn't directed at you btw. Hopefully you get your BBA conne...

I assume the BBA is detected for a couple reasons: - My Linksys router issues it an IP; I can see it in my DHCP Clients table (along with its name that I gave it in DreamPassport) - when I attempt to connect to the net via DreamPassport, It asks if I want to do so via the BBA - I can ping the Dream...

Thanks for the help, Phantom! Heres my net info. Motorola SurfBoard modem connected to Linksys BEFSR41 4 Port router. I have NOT upgraded to the latest firmware update, and will not (long story, not relevant). It is in Gateway mode, and DHCP, with a 192.168.X.X internal address class (and subsequent...

I cant get XDP to work with my BBA either. My router assigned it an IP; I see it in my Clients table named with the name I gave it (Dreamcast, natch). I have properly configured the DNS server IPs, along with the right gateway address. Still, nothing. Im no networking guru but I'm definitely NOT a n...
