Bypassing Xbox Power Switch

Ok, so I'm installing a monitor in the car, along w/ my Xbox (some of the time), and as we all know, Xbox's must be turned on after they're plugged in. They're not like PS2s, which you can simply leave the switch turned on, and then plug 'em in and watch 'em fly. So, I want to bypass the switch, so ...

I'm looking for fans small enough to fit into the s-type controller and that can run on 1.5v... I have the pinout:). I actually just took out an LED I installed (Bad resistor).

Fans in Xbox controller

Ok, so I'm sure this has been done, probably a lot... but I want to install two fans (preferrably 1.5v and EXTREMELY small) into an Xbox controller, similar of course to the Airflo controllers, only cheaper :).

Any tutorials? Anyone know where and how much these fans can be purchased?

PSONE screen: Getting it open!!

Ok, I have the PSONE screen... now I wanna rip it apart w/o hurting the case... I have it open everywhere except for the speaker portion... where the case just seems firmly glued in place or something. All I really want to do is paint the case to match my car's interior... anyone know how to get the...

Thanks again! It works great! I have the little adapter velcroed (unfortunately it's not working, and I have yet to figure out a better way to attach it) to the side of the xbox, all without an external power source... not to mention the scart cable, shortened to go just long enough to go into the V...

Tutorial Search: NES Controller 2 PC

Ok, I believe I once came across a way to connect a NES controller via a serial port, using drivers programmed specially for Windows to have it detect it as a gravis pad... unfortunately, now that I finally got another controller (I used 3 for nintendo buckles, and 1 for a front license plate), I ca...

haha, cool guitar dude. I admit, from the subject I thought you meant actually from scratch like my cousin did... he took a bigass hunk of wood and carved, sanded, and polished the bitch into one tight looking guitar... sounds a bit weird, but eh, what more can you expect? BTW I like your flames... ...

Xbox Power Supply: Need to know where to get 5v

Ok, so I got a Magic VGA Box, yay. Now no more lugging a TV to my friend's house for Halo LAN nights. I can just steal his monitor now :). Anyhow, I'm reducing wire amounts going to the VGA box. I velcroed the sucker to the side of my 'box... I would gut it and stick it inside the box itself, but I ...

Heh... I ripped my speakers out. I have a nice little magnet now... ahhhh, thank you Sega, for inventing an annoying little thing inside such a great device... although I must admit it's very satisying to just take a pare of wire snippers and just clip off those little speaker wires... damn speaker....

heh, red vinyl die... where do you get that stuff? I like what this guy did... I saw his mod on TSS one night. He masked off parts of it w/ tape, then soaked it in red dye... he said he had to repaint it a LOT to make sure all the colors matched correctly though... but it's an AIRCRAFT CARRIER! The ...

ya, that's what the coder's cable was developed for. Basically you're using an external drive, the GDROM in your DC :). No biggie. Besides, most software is legal to "hack", so long as you don't release the hacked code to anyone. You can break into your own copy of Windows and have all the...

DC Soldier of Fortune

Ok, so I bought the PAL version of SOF for the DC off Ebay. I get the package, the cd case looks rather large, as if it's made for 2 CDs. I open the package, I find a book, a CD... one CD.... nothing in the other bay... just one CD... so of course, I figure I've been gipped. So my question is this, ...
