Re: What are you playing or looking forward to?
The only game I am really looking forward to for the rest of the year is Persona 4. I've bought a few games this year, and have not played anything at all... so hopefully it will not turn into the same.

Re: Router problem?
I never had problems with my V1 at my parents. I've given up and throw it back on ebay, since it seems to sort of be working. I'll just have to take my V from my parents and switch it out with this cheap Belkin I bought.

Router problem?
I bought a used WRT54G v.6 (boo) off ebay a few days ago. When I set it up the ssid name was khalil, so I reset the router and upgraded the firmware and changed the ssid to what I wanted and all the other security stuff I needed. The router worked great for about 2 days, now it disconnects me after ...

Ike certainly held it's strength inland as well. We have 50 mph winds all day yesterday, will bursts up to 65 mph. Knocked out power for most of the state, and some areas of town are still out. It is crazy that we got winds like that up here from Ike.

Re: I just got a laptop (for free), what do I do?
I'm pretty new to laptops too, will it overheat easy if I leave it on 24/7 like I did with my desktop? Also if it is constantly plugged in, will that cause any damage to the battery like where it thinks that point is empty andwon't go any lower (forget the term for it).

File transfer help
So I just got a laptop and I am trying to transfer all my files from my pc over to it. I have a crossover cable, and tried to use the program included in Vista but the connect always times out once it is time to start the transfer. Anyone know of a better way, or simpler way?

There is a gang called the "330 Boyz" around here. Other then their graffiti, I have not seen it used too often, thought a local clothing company does have 330 shirts.

Laptop recommendations?
So I am moving back out in a week or two, and last time I moved out it was a pain to have a desktop take up a ton of room in my small bedroom so this time I'd like to get a laptop. I've never owned a laptop, and never really used them so I know pretty much next to nothing about them. I use my comput...
