Re: Question about accident.

I was in a similar situation just recently... tried to fit into a small parking space and hit the front corner of the bumper on the car next to me. I'm definately glad I left a note, otherwise my conscience would have killed me. Even though it cost me $200 it was worth the price for the lack of guil...

Back from Europe

Well, after a very long day of bus rides, airports, and flights, I'm finally home from Europe. Its quite the place. I saw Switzerland, Italy, Austria, and Germany. Besides Italy the whole trip was quite wonderful. It was a bit of a culture shock at first... everything is a lot smaller in comparison ...

Re: $21 a week for food

papa murphys expects food stamps, I remember getting that on my birthday. As someone who worked at a Papa Murphys in a poorer area of the city, we definately got a lot of people using food stamps. It definately irrated me when people would come in and buy $40 worth of pizza and pop with their food ...

Re: Kid protests not being allowed stage crossing w/priceless pi

My school is actually supposed to be quite a bit more difficult than the public schools around here. Everyone that has transferred between the two agree with that. It probably helps that we have to pay $3000 a year to go to the school, so parents are making sure there kids are going to be doing well...

Re: Kid protests not being allowed stage crossing w/priceless pi

I definately can see why it would be frustrating at your school because that system does sound pretty messed up. I still think the way my school did it was fair. We only had the regular classes and then the AP classes for just a select few, so there were only 2 tiers. Our transcripts still say are u...

Re: Kid protests not being allowed stage crossing w/priceless pi

That using the normal calculation method APE, not the "cheating" way. Now with the cheating way, 33 people would have a 4.0 or better GPA out of a class of 176. I don't understand the problem with having a class that is harder showing up that way to a college. It may not be the best way, b...

Re: FDA: Blood transfusions can spread the gay

I thought the check box dealt more with keeping your name off the test or something to that effect... I guess I haven't donated in awhile now... probably about a year and half. I should do that.. but I doubt they'll let me since I'm drugged up all the time now.... :)

Re: Kid protests not being allowed stage crossing w/priceless pi

Last year there was a big scandal in the public schools in town. There was a kid who had cancer so he missed quite a bit of time and was only a few credits short of graduating, but they wouldn't let him walk across the stage. I guess I don't remember how that one turned out... I was kind of torn bet...

Re: 60-year old woman defies God, nature, and common sense

Experience is great and all, but she will most likely be dead before the kids are 20. Now thats quite a bit of deprivation of time spent with parents that a normal child would have.

Re: High School Graduation

I got $650 for graduation, and then another $240 for not drinking in high school ($200 from my parents, $20 bet with each of my brothers). Not too shabby, went and bought a digital camera with some of it yesterday.

I live just outside of Sioux Falls, mrandyk

High School Graduation

Last night I finally graduated from high school. I still feel young on these boards, pretty much all the regulars that have been here longer or as long as I have are older than me. Oh well, its definately nice to be done. I get to go to Germany in 8 days with my german class for around 3 weeks, come...

Eek.... What I wrote when I was 14/15ish is kind of embarrasing to read. Atleast I've given up using lol all the time and write with proper grammar rules.

I'm pretty sure it was a day of a major forum problems. The site was having quite a few issues and I think was simply not working at all for a long time. After it all settled there was a new record.... so I'm pretty sure it was a fluke.

Well if it is still under warranty the easiest solution is to call them up and get it fixed. My macbook pro battery had stopped working for ahwile, so I called htem up on Wednesday. Five minutes later they had sent out another one, and less than 24 hours I had a brand new battery. Mind you I'm in So...

Look at the guys profile and other stories. He apparently just learned English. Seems like a Bilal type character trying to write fan fiction to me.
