AWESOME!!!! I thought it was ESPN 2night you had as I can't find a complete copy of NBA Hoppz!! Fatman to the rescue as I was getting pissed as at best I found one sans manual and i can't have that trash in my collection. Anyhow snagging off FTP and I will get the DAT's and game info ready for you then get it ready for upload and torrentzipped and TOSEC named.

Prepped the *7S* Blue Stinger variant for confirmation, also obtained info needed from NBA Hoopz and NBA2K2 for you. They are on the FTP already torrentzipped and TOSEC named with the DAT's and game info files zipped next to them since you have been so busy. Now post those bad boys so we can dual seed.
On a bad note my NiB South Park Rally arrived today with a crack in the center of the disc. How this happens to a truly sealed not resealed game I will never know. Anyhow tried to dump it but the balance is so far off I get bad results every time and never completed a dump so I need to re-acquire that one unless I get beat to the punch.
I spent to much already this week getting the DC back online using the 56k modem and networked through a Netopia analogue model and TLS2, not to mention the highly modded clear shelled DC I just bought and the yellow NiB casing I am buying as well has left me for not much room for games this week folks. Sorry sometimes hardware and vanity buys get in the way of dumping but I am not done and still have a few on the way so you will have plenty of games.
But for me to play the DC online again besides PSO, Quake III, and Doom (PC port for BBA users only) has been a Dream for me for so long as I have had the BBA but with this setup I am constantly connected with broadband backing me the whole way and I can now play a total of 9 (yes I count Doom & Sega Swirl) games online 10 if you count Last Hope leader boards.
And since there is no longer any interaction needed from PC side and is all handled hardware my old rig can handle it for one and the main thing is I don't have to setup a PC-DC server via VM. All this after looking so long for a type "A" modem so I didn't need a voltage line inducer. Oh well I have backup modems and four Dreamcast online now, two from the Netopia, one more on the Netopia using a serial modem I had lying around and lastly my "host" if you will my BBA equipped DC.
Big thanks goes to our fellow dumper fatman01923 for the heads up on this setup. If interested in playing with us online send him a message as I don't want to link to other boards and join us online with the system that started it all the Dreamcast!!
My setup was under $80 shipped and well worth it as the ping is below 160 most of the time where as true dial up is always over 200 so this is actually quite snappy without any worries of fluctuation of speeds and since it was designed for 56k this is a great setup just on steroids unlike anything Sega could have imagined back then. Man I love this system!! Now back to your original scheduled topic.

Hehe I only spread the method, for anyone curious the discoverer of the method described in Atreyu's post to get online was the guy who goes by the username brourke228 (Great guy). I will post the GDI's today!atreyu187 wrote: Big thanks goes to our fellow dumper fatman01923 for the heads up on this setup.
Hi, I don't know if this is the right topic.. anyway:
there are 2 versions of Mortal Kombat Gold NTSC-US:
- A gold colored one, which is the buggy version.
- A red colored one, which is the fixed version.
I noticed that there's a v1.001 Mortal Kombat Gold in your set. I can confirm that Redump dumped the fixed version from the red disc, which is marked as v1.006 there.
I don't know if your dump (marked v1.001) is the same fixed one, and that the version number was taken from another file or something? Otherwise the dumps should be different, and you are missing the fixed one. There are several auctions on ebay with this version, for instance here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mortal-Kombat-G ... 642wt_1163

Ok I have acquired Army Men, Pen Pen, South Park Rally, Walt Disney Magical Tour, NCAA College Football. And with what Fatman and Maddog have/submitted that is one dump of every USA game except for Urban Chaos, Generator DEMO disc, and Planet Web browsers. I am going to get Urban Chaos so really all we need now is someone to verify the games I have dumped that have only one dump from me and we will have at least one of each USA game verified.
Hi, thanks for passing your info on.Vigi wrote:Hi, I don't know if this is the right topic.. anyway:

It's not a mistake, we have 3 different unverified dumps of v1.006 submitted and the only verified one is v1.001 which I own too. It's indeed on a gold colored disc.
Strangely enough, the fixed versions of Midway games are supposed to be easy to distinguish from their cover, since the fixed version had a "Hot! New!" splash logo on it (as seen on your Ebay link too) while the old one didn't as seen here. Yet, my game came with the "Hot! New!" splash, while the disc was still the old version. Maybe someone changed covers or discs, who knows...
Normally I'd already have bought the newer version too, but since my finances are shit these days due to unemployment it will have to wait. Unless someone else submits it first.
We also have the same situation with Tennis 2K2. The verified version is 1.003 while I own an unverified v1.009. This will have to wait for another dumper to confirm mine...
Also NFL Blitz 2000, the verified one is v1.002 while there's an unverified dump of v2.000 waiting (I don't own that game either)
Finally, Shadow Man seems to be reversed: the verified v1.010 (that I also own) has older dates than the still unverified v1.001. This will have to be investigated at some point too.
If you see the first post of this thread, I have made public all the ringcode and version info for USA discs that I know. It's a couple months old, but still quite decent. You might find it interesting to read, maybe even useful to do comparisons with Redump info.
You are doing a great job on the US front.atreyu187 wrote:Ok I have acquired Army Men, Pen Pen, South Park Rally, Walt Disney Magical Tour, NCAA College Football. However, until Sonic Adventure is matched somehow, we won't have everything verified. So far, there are several unmatching versions submitted, not only with CDDA differences but also 2 known data versions: v1.004 and v1.005. Will be kinda funny if one of the most successful and widely known DC games is verified last.
I might be able to match Nologic's dump of Urban Chaos with a dump from ackmed. This is somewhere in the "to do" pipeline.
Urban Chaos and Generator vol1 acquired in a nice lot of 30 games today.
Edit
Here is the undumped games I bought and on the way to me.
Walt Disney Magical Tour
South Park Rally
Urban Chaos
Army Men Sarges Heroes
Generator volume 1
NCAA Road to the Rose bowl
Sonic Adventure Limited Edition (will need verification)
Omikron (second disc to try for a verification)
Pen Pen Trial whatever it is called is also in my possession.
EDIT
Picked up Sonic Adventure standard edition as well to try and verify that game.
Once all these are submitted I will have Maddog find the games that still need dumping but shouldn't be to many as he has a few still to dump but calling all dumpers we need Sonic Adventure verified so please dump. And I'm trying to find NBA Hoops to verify fatmans dump.
