Blue-Sky-Blue[s] - Sora wo Mau Tsubasa (LE) [T-23204M]

Post by Maddog »

Submitted by gorski. I have a copy of that game incoming as well, so I hope we can get it verified very soon.

This is the Limited Edition, which comes with an additional CD Extra Disc. This is labelled as "Premium Fan Disc". CD Extra is an unusual format that is designed to come up as Audio CD in most players, but have access to extra data hiding in a second session *if* you have the proper equipment. In this specific case, there are 18 audio tracks and then the second session contains some wallpapers in various resolutions, the poster/advertisement of the game and several scetches that appear to be development material from the game. I was not able to access the data directly from a Windows 7 laptop, but Isobuster was able to see and extract the second session properly.

Boxcode: T-23204M (note: game disc and CD Extra disc have also individual packagings, T-23205M and ECAP-0003 respectively). T-23205M also corresponds to the Normal Edition of the game.
Barcode: 4512435-00006-8. The game disc also comes with spinecard which has 4512435-00007-5 barcode, which again corresponds to the Normal Edition.
All evidence points to the likelihood that the Normal Edition (which is still undumped) is identical to this disc seen below.
Ringcode: T-23205M-0886 2MS1 (Game disc) ECAP-0003* JRC 13934 (Premium Fan Disc)

Dumped my version of the Limited Edition and ended up with exactly the same information as Gorski.
Added to the upcoming dats. Thank you Gorski! :)

PS: I reversed the name. In the dats you will find it as Sora wo Mau Tsubasa - Blue-Sky-Blue[s]. After looking carefully at the actual game, "Blue-Sky-Blue[s]" is written in a smaller font on the front cover and on the sides the kanji for "Sora wo Mau Tsubasa" come BEFORE the "Blue-Sky" part. I think it makes more sense to name it this way... :?

EDIT: contrary to what I state above, I was after all been able to access the CD Extra Data on the bonus disc using a Windows 7 machine. Autorun will still come up as "audio CD" but if you actually navigate to your drive letter on Windows Explorer the bonus data files will be there.
The disc itself states that it was tested with Windows XP and IE 6. :P
